I can not say enough great things about this dental practice. I had my first visit recently and the staff and Dr. Dollinger are amazing. My anxiety was through the roof when I arrived expecting to have the same nasty experience I have had in the past with dentist but I was wrong. The compassion and care they show is top notch and they make you feel so comfortable and at ease the entire visit. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I love the Christian atmosphere in the office. The Christian music that's played is very relaxing as well. The entire staff are very caring, friendly and genuine The dentist is always as gentle as he can be when he worked on my teeth and concerned about my comfort as he worked. I can not even begin to tell you how wonderful these guys are! They have went above and beyond with making my fear of dentist disappear. If you have any fear of the dentist this is your guy. I had a tooth removed today and literally never felt the first bit of pain.And it wasn't a easy extraction due to me putting it off. Not to mention I was a walk in. Thank you

Today we went to Upwards Dental to meet Dr. Eric Dollinger who made my moms top denture which lasted for 15 years by now, and she still has it and uses it because it fits perfectly and she never had to use any adhesive powder to keep it in place. So, now when she needed help with her bottom teeth she told me to find Dr.Dollinger again. This doctor really takes time to explain all the options to solve the problem and does his work with top quality. He treated her like his own mom and we were very satisfied with the solutions Dr. Dollinger offered and we were happy to meet again his very friendly team.

Well I just had a tooth extracted on my second visit, wasn’t impressed with my insurance and at first I thought the estimate was a little pricey. I have now realized I was wrong in my first opinion. The procedure went exactly as they said it would without any pain. The whole staff was exceptional. They work as a team and it was very apparent as they shared their knowledge. Thanks guys

Great staff to work with in a clean, friendly office environment. Dr. Dollinger is a kind and compassionate dentist. He thought originally I was in need of a crown, but once he started working on my tooth, Dr. Dollinger determined we could go with a solid filling instead and save a good portion of my tooth. The insurance filing is simple as well, they handle it all.

I could not be more pleased with my experience at Upwards Dental. I recently moved to the area and had to go through the "not so fun" transition to a new dental practice. At first arrival it felt like family. The team was very welcoming, and we immediately hit it off. The comprehensive check I went through was by far the most thorough check I have ever experienced. Along with this, a very thorough insurance coverage analysis was provided to me. Before leaving on my first day, an appointment was cancelled, and they offered to fit me in to that time slot to begin taking steps toward executing my dental needs. Within 2 days we were able to knock out high priority issues. During that time, I believe I took 6 numbing needles and did not feel a single one. Following these procedures, I received personal texts checking in on me. AMAZING! I have never been at a point in life where I am actually looking forward to going to the dentist and seeing "the family". I would like to thank Jenny, Tenille, Blanca, Martine, Mikisha, Erica, and of course Doc for their attention to detail, their kindness, and making me feel so comfortable in an environment that can bring stress and anxiety. Feeling very fortunate to have found this group, looking forward to continuing our tooth journey, and would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for the best experience. Best dental experience. I was scheduled to get a crown done, went in fully expecting to have a crown, he got to work and was able to salvage and redo the filling and avoided having to do the crown altogether. He has the patient's best interest at heart and will go out of the way to make sure you are happy and well taken care of. Operates by the "treat others how you want to be treated" motto.

I never thought I would say this about a dental practice but I love going here for my dental work. We found them while looking for a good dentist for my Mom. Dr. Dollinger is a true professional and his staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Recently, I had to have two cavities taken care of by Dr. Dollinger. They were the first new cavities since my teen years. He is skilled at giving the anesthetic needles and the fillings were done in no time. My mom had to have a new partial made up and that worked out very well, too. I highly recommend this dental office.

Upward Dental has friendly staff. The office is peaceful and clean. Erica Pressley is the best hygienist. Her kind, bubbly personality puts all patients at ease! She makes the visit pass quickly and efficiently with humor along the way. I highly recommend!

Always a great experience at Upwards Dental! Earlier this year I arrived for my appointment to have my custom night guard fitted. The power went out due to some kind of construction in the area. It was also my birthday. Dr. Dollinger and his staff not only worked with back up batteries and lights to make sure I could keep my appointment for a perfect fit (I grind my teeth something terrible), they made it a great adventure! We called it “Dentist in the Dark!”, laughed, and had a fun time...I posted a photo! The entire staff made me feel special, and I even left with a card signed by all, along with a Starbucks gift card to celebrate my birthday. Who does that?! Upwards Dental. I’ve been a patient here for years and Dr. McChristian and Dr. Dollinger have always been amazing, staff have always been so friendly, (a special thanks to Erica who cleaned my teeth gently and perfectly and was so sweet yesterday), and my teeth are healthy! I LOVE Upwards Dental. Of course I’m going to brag on my own daughter, Erica. She could hurt me while she’s cleaning my teeth as payback for the punishments she received as a child (LOL) but instead, she takes extra steps to be sure I’m comfortable and pain free while she cleans my teeth. Nothing makes a mother happier than seeing her girl excelling in her career and doing what she loves. As far as Dr. Dollinger goes, he is up to date on new technology and procedures. He has spent many hours with his staff planning for a complex case before even beginning the first step of treatment. He truly does give an individualized treatment plan for each patient taking their needs and concerns into consideration. As for the rest of the staff- they are so kind, thoughtful, and efficient. I had an appointment scheduled on Valentine’s Day, and when confirming the appointment via text message, I replied “only if I get flowers” (LOL again) and to my surprise and delight, Carolyn and Tabitha had flowers AND candy waiting for me at the front desk when I walked in the door that day. You can tell everyone in this office cares about you as a person, not just your teeth. Of course I wanted to support my daughter’s career, but I’m so blessed she is employed by such wonderful and caring people.

As a former dentist, I was thrilled with my recent appointment. A tooth that I was sure needed a crown, Dr. Dollinger was able to fill by being careful to remove only what was necessary. He and his assistant, Jenny, kept me informed of progress and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. It gives me great comfort to know my former patients have a conscientious team taking care of them.

Dr. Dollinger is a very caring and personable dentist. Having dental procedures done is never "fun" but he and his assistants go above and beyond to keep you informed and comfortable throughout the process ...they even brought me a warm fuzzy blanket during my recent lengthy procedure when I got cold! :) Keeping up with the new technologies, techniques, and products of his trade seems important to him and I appreciate that. He has surrounded himself with a very professional and courteous staff, some being with him for quite a long time which says a lot! From simple cleanings to bigger procedures, I highly recommend Upwards Dental and Dr. Dollinger :)

I was visiting my brother in N.C.for a family reunion, when my upper front 6 piece bridge fell out. I was so upset , i couldn't face my family looking the way I was. I called that same day and they got me in right away! The staff and Dr. Dollinger was so professional and made me feel comfortable and assured me they would get it fixed. Dr. Dollinger took his time explaining all my options before we proceeded. My current Dentist in Florida did not tell me all the problems I had. I'm actually considering to fly back and forth to get all my teeth worked on by this practice. I recommend this life saving office to any one that needs dental work at affordable prices and a heavenly touch! And he wasn't even my dentist! I was recommended by my brother. Love this office! I didn’t feel like I was being rushed at all to just make an appointment. She took her time with me and explained everything to me about my insurance etc. I went in today for my initial visit. And again she was so incredibly sweet! The dental hygienist Erica, was amazing! She explained every single thing to me. She was so fun to be around and I had so much fun sharing stories with her! I also have to mention that I brought my two kids of three and a four-year-old. Because my husband is working. They completely welcome to my kids put on a movie for them and let them play with the toys that were in the room. I have never been to a dentist that is so welcoming to the entire family! Then the dr! So nice & welcoming! I felt like I knew him for years! He explained everything as well and was very thorough! Thank you again guys for everything! I actually can’t wait to come to the dentist again. If your looking for a great visit to the dentist in every single way go here!

All the staff is wonderful and very welcoming! If it tells you anything, my 7 year old daughter who wouldn't even open her mouth for a local pediatric dentist WITH nitrous gas has had 3 procedures with Dr. Dollinger with no gas, no fighting, and even fell asleep during the last 2.

Okay, I admit it....I'm a chicken when it comes to dental work! I recently needed to have an old crown and underlying decay removed and a new crown put on. My teeth have gotten more sensitive so I was anxious, to say the least. Dr. McChristian was totally compassionate! He prescribed a pill to take the edge off my anxiety, which was great. During all of the necessary work, he and his staff went above and beyond to make sure I was okay, even giving me time to rest my jaw! I can honestly say that it was not painful in the least and I now have a crown that fits perfectly and healthy mouth. I always get a great cleaning as well thanks to Karen! You guys are my heros....you get 5 stars not because I loved having dental work done, but because I love that you kept me comfortable and pain free! Maybe I won't be such a coward the next time! We are from out of state and came through on business. My husband needed an extraction done asap. McChristians office was the only dentist office open on Friday. They were happy to see a new patient. When we arrived, we were greeted by a a very friendly receptionist, we spent less than 5 minutes in the waiting room before we were called back. The dental assistant had a sunny personality and was very efficient. Doc had a wonderful bedside manner. He explained everything about the procedure in great detail and answered all of our questions. He took extra care to ensure that the area was numb before starting the extraction and asked frequently if the patient was "okay". Both my husband and I have had bad experiences with dentists in the past. McChristian seemed too good to be true. We couldnt be happier with our experience with him. Amazingly enough, it gets better. Dr.McChristian called my husband's cell phone personally and checked on him.....after hours. This kind of attention is unheard of in Kansas, where we are from. I know it'd be a long trip but I would definitely consider the drive from KS to NC again for any dental needs.
