This is one of the nicest dental offices I have been to in all of western North Carolina. The entire staff had a smile and took the time to greet me. You can tell these folks really love what they do. On top of that, they get in there and get the work done quickly and professionally. The hygienist was quick and efficient. She knows her craft very well and was pleasant to work with. The Dr came in and checked my teeth but took the time to tell me the why behind his assessment. 10/10 across the board. Finally, when I was leaving, the front staff took the time to thank me for coming in. Highly recommended.

They really have provided a super high quality and comfortable experience year after year. Dr. Dollinger is a family man and takes care of everyone at a noticeably high level. I don’t think I’ve ever waited much at all for any of my appointments. All the staff is super personable, accommodating, and seem like they really enjoy being there. If the people I care about the most asked me where to do, this place would be where I point them.

Over a year ago, Dr. Dollinger discovered I had an oral cancerand likely saved my life. He worked closely with a MissionHospital cancer surgeon to determine how best to treat it. Ihad surgery in December 2023 which involved removing 4 teethand part of my lower jawbone. After that surgery, Dr Dollingercontinued to work with the surgeon during the healing process,to determine the next phase. They decided the jawbone neededstrengthening, before any teeth implants could be done and, inJanuary 2025, a follow-up surgery was done to do that.Throughout this entire process, Dr. Dollinger has remainedcommitted to providing the best possible care for me. UpwardsDental is by far the best dental office I’ve ever had. Theiroffice is state-of-the-art and the staff members arewonderful.

I could not be more pleased with my experience at UpwardsDental. I recently moved to the area and had to go through the"not so fun" transition to a new dental practice. At firstarrival it felt like family. The team was very welcoming, andwe immediately hit it off. The comprehensive check I wentthrough was by far the most thorough check I have everexperienced. Along with this, a very thorough insurancecoverage analysis was provided to me. Before leaving on myfirst day, an appointment was cancelled, and they offered tofit me in to that time slot to begin taking steps towardexecuting my dental needs. Within 2 days we were able to knockout high priority issues. During that time, I believe I took 6numbing needles and did not feel a single one. Following theseprocedures, I received personal texts checking in on me.AMAZING! I have never been at a point in life where I amactually looking forward to going to the dentist and seeing"the family". Dr. Dollinger (I call him Eric, which feelsright and comfortable) has a way of putting you at ease.Blanca and Martine, two of Dr. Dollinger’s assistants, werealso efficient and friendly. Plus, I enjoy practicing mySpanish with Blanca and Dr. Dollinger, both fluent in Spanish.Check-out was handled very efficiently and with friendlinessby Tennille. I was also overjoyed to see how much my insurancepaid on the bill. Overall, a great dental experience!

Today we went to Upwards Dental to meet Dr. Eric Dollinger whomade my moms top denture which lasted for 15 years by now, andshe still has it and uses it because it fits perfectly and shenever had to use any adhesive powder to keep it in place. So,now when she needed help with her bottom teeth she told me tofind Dr.Dollinger again. This doctor really takes time toexplain all the options to solve the problem and does his workwith top quality. He treated her like his own mom and we werevery satisfied with the solutions Dr. Dollinger offered and wewere happy to meet again his very friendly team.

My 1st appt.was very encouraging to someone who had lost herfaith in Dentistry. DR. Dollinger worked me into his scheduleimmediately and I left the office feeling a great sense ofrelief., in that I found the right solution to a very complexproblem related to my overall health. He was also precise intelling me what procedures had to be done, and cost of each,and in what order. For all that, I am most grateful and ,believe it or not, am actually looking forward to my nextvisit to the Dentist !

I HATE going to the dentist. But, Dr.Dollinger and his staffare exceptional! Erika is the best hygienist I’ve ever had.She has a calm demeanor and is so gentle cleaning my teeth. Ineglected my teeth for years due to horrific pain Iexperienced during cleanings. Now I get my teeth cleaned twicea year. I am so thankful for Erika, and would recommend her toanyone.

Very professional, thoroughly explained what would happenduring first visit after asking problems I had with teeth andgums as well as expectations of first visit and beyond. Jennywas excellent in getting me prepared to meet the Dr. Dollingerand he had reviewed my X-rays with Jenny and I was quite happyand relaxed during his exam of my moth and our discussion ofvarious choices as we work towards dental wellness.

Best dental experience. I was scheduled to get a crown done,went in fully expecting to have a crown, he got to work andwas able to salvage and redo the filling and avoided having todo the crown altogether. He has the patient's best interest atheart and will go out of the way to make sure you are happyand well taken care of. Operates by the "treat others how youwant to be treated" motto.

I never thought I would say this about a dental practice but Ilove going here for my dental work. We found them whilelooking for a good dentist for my Mom. Dr. Dollinger is a trueprofessional and his staff is friendly and knowledgeable.Recently, I had to have two cavities taken care of by Dr.Dollinger. They were the first new cavities since my teenyears. He is skilled at giving the anesthetic needles and thefillings were done in no time. My mom had to have a newpartial made up and that worked out very well, too. I highlyrecommend this dental office.
